The king by judgment establishes the land, but he that receives bribes overthrows it.

And it came to pass that Gideon sent men into the wilderness secretly to search for the king and those that were with him. ... And the king commanded them that they should not return, and they were angry with the king and caused that he should suffer, even unto death by fire.
I spoke also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live. ... It is an abomination to kings to commit wickedness, for the throne is established by righteousness.
Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.
