Anti-Nephi-Lehi

Anti appears to be a proper noun or proper name in the Nephite-Lamanite language. It means the people of Nephi and Lehi. It was originally a name given to the brother of the king Lamoni. Anti means a “combination or face-to-face meeting.” The Latin ante means “standing in front of a person and facing him,” so Anti-Nephi-Lehi means the people of Nephi brought face-to-face or joined together with the other descendants of Lehi. It’s bringing together the peoples of Nephi and Lehi.
