Also in this year, some defectors had gone and joined the Lamanites; and they were once again stirred up to be angry at the Nephites.

He had taken those who were with him and gone up into the land of Nephi among the Lamanites, and there he stirred up the Lamanites to be angry with the Nephites; this resulted in the Lamanite king sending a proclamation throughout his land among all his people that they were to gather again to go to battle against the Nephites.
